Hiring a Technical SEO Expert in Bali, Indonesia: What to Know
Bing sent 5.09% of desktop search referrals in Indonesia in August 2026 and Yahoo 3.25%, per Statcounter, so desktop audits should look beyond Google.
Indonesian hreflang tags often break
1,141 sites in Seotal's September 2026 hreflang study used the plain "id" code, the most of any Southeast Asian locale, and 14.7% of sites with Indonesian entries missed return links. A technical SEO expert should audit both directions.
Old Microdata still lingers
44.1% of top Indonesian homepages carried structured data in Seotal's September 2026 study, and 13.4% still used Microdata. A technical SEO expert can move markup to JSON-LD and fill in missing Organization details.
Cloudflare blocks many AI crawlers
15.1% of top Indonesian domains with a readable robots.txt blocked GPTBot, and Cloudflare's managed file wrote 72.4% of named AI blocks, in Seotal's study. A technical SEO expert should check that setting before an AI search project.
